Join Team Mayo - Auction Catalog Team Member


Mayo Auction & Realty is looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Auction Catalog Team Member to help prepare items for our online auctions.

This is a hands-on position that combines photography, organization, research, cataloging, and physical labor. You may be working in a home, business, warehouse, or other location, sometimes with limited or no air conditioning.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Organize and prepare items for auction
  • Photograph and catalog a wide variety of personal property
  • Research items and record important identifying details
  • Write clear, accurate titles and descriptions
  • Move, sort, box, and arrange auction items
  • Help prepare auction locations for preview and load-out
  • Assist customers during previews and scheduled pickup days
  • Help keep projects organized and moving toward auction deadlines

Who We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Is dependable, organized, and detail-oriented
  • Is comfortable with smartphones, computers, and basic technology
  • Can take clear photos and communicate information accurately
  • Is curious and enjoys learning about unfamiliar items
  • Is comfortable with physical work, including lifting, moving, and organizing property
  • Can work in a variety of environments and temperatures
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Treats clients, customers, coworkers, and their property with professionalism and respect

Auction experience is not required. We can teach you our systems and processes. A strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and attention to detail are most important.
